Fashion’s Impact on Water

Think about your closet. How many pairs of jeans do you own? How many t-shirts? Now, consider the fact that the average pair of jeans takes 3,781 liters of water throughout its lifecycle. It’s safe to say our closets hold a lot of water! Now consider the impact of the entire fashion industry on this finite resource. 

We picked World Ocean’s Day to bring water conservation initiatives and sustainable brands to the table to discuss how we can work in our own spheres and together to reduce our impact.
